Collaborations

Sustainability enthusiasts form a small niche in India. In order to grow and spread the word, it’s important for like-minded people to support and assist each other. Collaborations, for this very purpose, are an integral part of a green brand’s/blogger’s Instagram presence.
Don’t get me wrong, ethical collaborations do not just mean products in exchange for a post. The ONLY aim of this is for both parties to reach a better audience and convince more people to save the earth. It’s actually the beginning of a strong “sustainable” bond between two organizations that have a long way to go together. The earth won't save itself. I recommend each and every brand that I have ever collaborated with, to anyone and everyone who seems to be in need of it. It’s very easy to get lost in the world of plastic, but collaborations connect you to people who will pull you back to the green realm.

This can happen in the following ways-

  1. Giveaways - This helps brands spread the word about their product and gain a potential client base. People who follow @didyousaykabad will naturally be interested in sustainable products, which makes them a good target audience for an eco-friendly brand. As for me, through the brand's followers, I can reach more people. If I am able to convince even 3 of them to change a single habit, I will be successful at my endeavor of making people better earthlings!

  2. Hire me to improve your packaging(399/-)! - From desi jugaads to classy packaging, I am the person you need! Since I have a fair idea of what good packaging in the sustainability world means, I can help you improve the presentation of your couriered package, connect you to the most affordable vendors near you and help perfect your brand. Once it's all done I'll add your product and packaging to my story and highlights!

  3. Paid collaborations - This is a simple, ethical way of marketing your brand, using your photos on someone else’s platform. The fee is bare minimum since marketing that product will eventually help people become more sustainable, which is the entire reason why I run this page.

  4. Story takeovers - This is my personal favourite, because again, it helps me teach sustainability to new people! Conscious brands can educate their followers about simple, every day, eco-friendly hacks, by letting me take over their story. The story takeover reminds the followers why they need to buy ethically in the first place. It also helps break the monotony of the brand’s product lists and reviews. Brands can also take over my Instagram simultaneously, to tell their brand’s story, show BTS manufacturing videos, and the effort that goes into making a green product. The story will obviously be seen by potential clients interested in your product typology.

  5. Barter collaborations/ Affiliate marketing- This is the most common form of collaboration. Some brands just send out products in exchange for a story/post. Affiliations work well since brands have a person out there(me), constantly educating potential customers about the benefits of using their product in exchange for a small fee.

I love and trust all the brands I collaborate with, I stay in
touch with almost all of them and make sure to help
them in whichever way possible. You can check out
brands I have previously collaborated in
the list mentioned below.
